Philanthropy

Perhaps it is because so much of our work is centered in smaller towns and cities. Or maybe it's because after decades of forest management, we appreciate that everything, one way or another, is connected.

Whatever the reason, community is integral to the work we do at Potlatch. As a member of communities across the country, we are keenly aware of our obligation to contribute to the well-being of the places where we live and do business.

We contribute to our communities in two principal ways: we award scholarships annually through the Potlatch Foundation for Higher Education and we contribute directly to charities. To read more about our efforts or to apply for a scholarship, please follow the links to the left.
