Potlatch Forestlands and Facilities

With timberlands and manufacturing facilities in nine states, we're well-positioned to serve markets across North America and around the world.

Timber production is our core business. We own approximately 1.7 million acres of forestland in Idaho, Minnesota, Arkansas, and Wisconsin. Every acre of land we use for silviculture is either certified by the Forest Stewardship Council or is in the process of being certified. Some land where we don't grow trees for harvest—such as closed mill sites—falls outside the scope of FSC-certification.

We primarily use our forestlands to grow trees sold as logs and fiber for manufacturing. Occasionally, we also sell parcels of land, or lease them for recreational use.

Our manufacturing operations include sawmills, plywood and particleboard plants, bleach kraft pulp and paperboard mills, tissue mills, and tissue converting facilities.
